Prestwood 10K

The Prestwood 10k race is held annually in May , usually the third Sunday (dates may vary). The race is now well established with over 250 entries each year. The race starts and finishes at Prestwood Sports Centre (Sprinters), Honor End Lane, Prestwood 

The course is a one-lap figure of eight. The first half is “undulating” through country lanes, the second half passes through Prestwood village and is flat. Trophies are awarded in the following categories, to be held for one year:  

First male, First female, First Male Athletics Club Team, First Female Athletics Club Team, First Fun Team.

In addition, trophies are  awarded to the following, to be held in perpetuity:

1^st / 2^nd / 3^rd Male                 1^st / 2^nd / 3^rd Female  

1^st Male and Female Over-40, Over-50 and Over-60                  

1^st Male and Female Under-18        

First three members of Winning Male Team                                                                     

First three members of Winning Female Team

First three members of Winning Fun Team

All finishers  receive a Commemorative Medal

The Prestwood 10k  is run under ARC Road Race Permit and the course is certified accurate by  the ARC.

Entries: £8 affiliated and £10 unaffiliated.       Entries accepted on the day subject to limit...£2 extra.All proceeds from the Prestwood 10k go to local charities and volunteers are always needed to assist with pre-race organisation and help on the day.  After 18 years Liz Rankine and Helen Simmonds have decided to step down as organisers after this year's race and are looking for volunteers to organise the race. It only takes a few hours each year.If you are interested in taking over please contact Helen on 07792 371947
